Film Couture

I'm simply stunned by the brilliant costume designs in this new film, The Secret of Moonacre. I honestly don't know much of anything about this film except it's a fantasy...it has the little girl from The Golden Compass and...best of all....it has Ioan Gruffudd in it! Brilliant man. :)
The costumes are incredible works of art...I'm just in awe...
I'm in love with this long flowy gauzy ribbon scarf/necklace. Mmm...I want to make one! And check out that cocky collar:

I'll have to look more into this movie and see what it's about. But it appears it is only playing the the UK. :( Hopefully it will come out here...at least on video. I'd love to see it, even if just for the costumes. ;)

    All I can say is *thank you* for posting this. I had not heard of this movie and now I am QUITE excited. : )

    I did noticed that it's up on the Costumer's Guide...looks like I'll need to check that out!

    ah yes, I've been following this movie as well. :) I actually got on Amazon and ordered the book, "the little white horse" so I could read the story before the film comes out. it was very good and i'd recommended it. since it's a kids book you'll read it fast though. :) anyway can't wait to see the movie now!

    I read the book "The Little White Horse", which is a cute children's fantasy story, so the movie will hopefully be equally sweet and innocent.

    And aren't these costumes insane? Gorgeous. :)
