Maid Marian
Marian's Wardrobe by TheArtofClothes on Polyvore.com
I tell you, polyvore is addicting! This set was inspired by Maid Marian played by the lovely Lucy Griffiths.
To the left shows her style at the castle, more feminine and jewelry from Sir Guy of Gisborne. To the right shows her Sherwood Forest side, where her heart truly lies, with Robin Hood.

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
Ooh! I adore this set - nice job! The peach and green tops are my fave and I love the jewelry! The earrings are so cute... *sigh* :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I really like is that it almost seems like we could go shopping and get every thing on there and BE Maid Marian.
ReplyDeleteAmandaBeth, thanks! I had a lot of fun putting this one together...I'm in such a Robin/Marian mood it's not even funny! :) Those tops are my favorite too! I really want them!
ReplyDeleteSweetPea, I agree! I think I might feel a bit like Maid Marian if I could dress like that. Especially if I could have a bow and arrow. *sigh*
