Pixar's Brave

I'm really excited for this movie to come out! I don't even know what it's about really but it just looks amazing.
And even though it's animated...the costumes look awesome!
I can't wait to see it! Almost anything with medieval costumes and bow and arrows makes me happy! :)

Coming Soon

I've almost completed the knitting pattern for my fingerless gloves! I'm going to have a friend or two proof it to make sure I didn't forget anything or make it utterly confusing for you all.
I'm excited to share it with you! It will be in my shop and on Ravelry as soon as it's ready! I will let you know when. :)

Genevieve Scarf

It's getting to be that time of year. Slowly the days are getting shorter, and before you know it the leaves will start falling and there will be frost in the morning. My friends from Pretty Wit are now offering this beautiful chunky hand knit scarf in their shop which is the perfect way to take off the early morning chill while you're on your way.
And it's available in 9 different colors so you can match it to your favorite Fall outfits or buy a few! See their listing HERE.

Back to Business and a Sale

I finally got my Etsy shop up and going again. I'm looking forward to making some cozy things for this winter!
Right now I've put all my hair clips and crocheted flower pins on sale for 20% off!
I'm so excited to be making stuff again. I don't have room for costuming stuff yet and all my costuming supplies haven't been moved over yet. But I'm excited to get going on all that soon as well!

Jane Eyre 2011

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure loving pictures of the newest adaption of Jane Eyre. I'm going to watch it with a friend soon so I will most likely have more thoughts then. But for now I am enjoying the beautiful photos.
I love it when they take drab fabrics and make them into something so romantic and stunning with details.
I'm also excited because one of my favorite actors, Jamie Bell, is in it. Looking forward to seeing him in period costume again!
Have any of you seen it? What are your thoughts?

Disclaimer:

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
