Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

I wasn't a huge fan of the last Pirates movie...and I have a feeling the next one might not be any better...but I'm still excited for the 4th movie, coming out in May, because I just love seeing those awesome scruffy pirate costumes...and as long as Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush are involved...it has to have some element of entertainment to it, right? ;)
Here's a few pictures I've come across so far...

Looks... interesting... I wonder if it'll be good...
I think they filmed or are filming part of it on Maui. Anyway... that's what I heard. =]
Yeah, I have to agree with you about that, If it has Johnny Depp It will probably be pretty good, if it has Geoffry Rush, I would say tooootally... =] Ha ha!

  2. I actually think the photo of Jack is from POTC:At World's End. At least, my sister found it in 2007 when looking for AWE production pictures. Isn't his outfit interesting? I always figured it was cut from one of the scenes related to the Singapore pirates.

Thanks for sharing the photos! I'm not sure what I'll think of a Pirates movie without Will and Elizabeth, but I'm hoping for the best. Depp and Rush are really good actors.

  3. Kiri, I was debating weather or not it was from At World's End...I think your right! I thought it was a cool costume anyway...they should have left it in! Jack Sparrow hardly ever gets to wear a different costume! ;)

Disclaimer:

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
