the day has come...

I've officially designed my first knitting pattern for fingerless mittens...

I'm so very pleased with it. It took a number of tries and figuring but I finally got it basically written down. I'm going to work on making it easier to understand and then I might sell it as a PDF in my shop if I can figure out how to do that. But for now I'm just having fun making them. Pretty soon I might try some variations with cables and such.
*sigh*....I love knitting. :)

  1. Do you write it with Open Office. It has a PDF-Export option and tada: a pattern-pdf-file
    ;-)

  2. Aw! I love those. So sweet. Love the color combination!! It's funny, I've been thinking about patterns lately and how cool it would be to write them and sell them!! Great minds...I tell ya. :) Of course, not knitting patterns... I wish. ;) You must teach me soon. Ok?

    Love you!

  4. Emmeline, thanks for the tips...I haven't typed it out on the computer yet so when I do I'll see if I have the PDF-Export option. That's helpful, thanks! And yes...I am on Ravelry, are you?

Gen...let's get together and I will teach a knitting class. I charge 2 cups of tea per stitch. ;)

Ms. Givens: These gloves are available in my shop but the pattern will hopefully be available soon if your friend or anyone they know knits. :)

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
