I know I've already posted about this before. But I just can't get enough of these flowered dresses, wooly cardigans and rubber wellies in The Edge of Love. Ah...to be Welsh.

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
Wow. . . I love the knitted cardigan worn by Sienna Miller in the 4th pic! :-)
ReplyDeleteTHey are very adorable! Have you seen the movie? Kiera Knightely is a good actor but I don't agree with the person she is in real life. And have you seen Goya's Ghost?
ReplyDeleteThese costumes are really cute! I haven't seen the movie though, is it worth watching?
ReplyDeleteI agree...that cardigan is ever so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have not yet seen this film as it is only available in the UK. It was actually playing in cinemas while I was living there right down the street from me. But it cost nearly 9 GBP (that was about $16 US dollars at the time) so I chose not to indulge as I was on a tight budget. I do hope it will come to the US one day as I'm a huge Keira Knightley fan. Either that or I'll just have to wait until my next visit to England. :)
Bria...I haven't seen Goya's Ghost. I'm not a big ghost movie person...they give me the creeps! But I adore the costumes from it, I think their brilliantly stunning. I love the embroidery on the purple gown. :)

I spent my childhood on the farm wearing flowered skirts and wellies with long socks! Am so happy nowadays to be able to run around without them!
ReplyDeleteHi! I've mentioned your topic on my blog, you can check it out later. And maybe we could be partners!
