The Young Victoria

My new obsession:

I've been watching the costumes for months getting excited about this one...especially excited seeing it has so many AMAZING actors in it. (I love Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend, not to mention many others that play in this film) Just today I saw this trailer and now...I'm even more deeply in love.

I'm sure I will do many more posts about this...I just wanted to share the trailer real quick. :)
The release date for the US hasn't been announced as of yet, but it comes out in the UK next month if your lucky and live there.

Also check out the awesome website HERE. There's an awesome section on the costumes!

  2. I want to see Victoria and Albert again. I saw it awhile ago and I remember I liked it. Let's get it from the library and watch it. Ok. :)

  3. Ooooh! Okay! I want to see it! I really want to read some books about her as well. :)
And next time I'm in London...I'm GOING to the Victoria & Albert museum with or without a map. I'm sure some person on the street will point me in the right direction. ;)
    See you tomorrow. :)

  4. Oh, wow!!! I can't wait for this movie to come out! Yahoo! It looks EXCELLENT. A wonderful drama (a must, for me) and gorgeous costumes, to boot.

*Love your Duchess theme music. That was an amazing movie.

  6. I was in England when this movie came out! And I went to the Victoria and Albert museum (great costumes!)The person I was with (Mrs. Jennie Chancey) went to see it. She said the costumes were amazing and accurate. Isn't it a little unfair that we make the movies here in America, but they go straight to the UK?

Disclaimer:

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
