I keep trying to focus on my Civil War dress...but all I can do is daydream about having my own bow and arrow and dressing like Maid Marian.

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
I, for one, can't wait to see the final result of the Maid Marian dress! Happy Easter!

I love that dress! I will be so jealous when you actually sew it. I actually want most of those costumes! I think the historical/modern combo was so great in this entire series. Robin also looks like a rockstar!
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure when I will get around to making this dress, I haven't got the fabric yet, but it's definately on my wish list!
ReplyDeletelissawi, I want most of the costumes too! I think the designers did a brilliant job mixing the modern with historic! They did it just right...not too much or to little. I'm quite in love.
Robin is pretty awesome too! I'm rather obsessed with Guy's leather outfit too. I might have to do a costume study on all the guy's clothes...I'm almost as crazy about all of them as Maid Marian's! :)
