Marie Antoinette Fingerless Mitts

I made these while watching Little Dorrit last night. (which in my opinion, keeps getting better and better!) They made me think of Marie Antoinette's Pink and Yellow gown.
They're now in the SHOP! :)

  1. Ooh! Those are lovely! I love the pink and yellow combo...

And isn't "Little Dorrit" fabulous? My sister and I watched the first episode online but we able to catch part 2 on tv last night. I am enjoying it so much. :)

  2. I'm enjoying it so much as well! I am feeling a bit impatient though...I want to just pop the next dvd in...not wait 3 weeks for the ending. haha But it is fun to have to wait. Gives me something to look forard to every week! :)

  5. Leah: Nooo! That's so sad! I hope it will work for you at some point! It's so good. Although every episode keeps leaving you hanging. Might be better to waitand watch the whole thing at once on dvd...that will be nice! :)

Chrissy: haha, I'm not very good at knitting either! And I think it's so hard to teach one's self. I've been very blessed to have an amazing teacher!

Disclaimer:

Although I continually talk about movie costumes on this blog, I am not a movie reviewer. Not all the films I discuss are recommended and I do not choose to review weather they are appropriate or not for the simple fact that every person's standards are different. Something that is fine for me may be offensive to some one else and visa versa. If you would like to look into the appropriateness of a title, I recommend pluggedinonline.com. I have not seen all the movies I discuss, and am simply interested in the art of clothes in film. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you will watch the movie or not.
